นายพิเชษฐพงษ์ ศรีสุวรรณกุล กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท โรช ไดแอกโนสติกส์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด กล่าวว่าขณะนี้ บริษัทฯ ได้รับการอนุมัติการขึ้นทะเบียน ชุดตรวจโควิด 19 ด้วยตัวเองแบบโฮมยูส (Home Use) จาก อย. ไทยแล้ว ซึ่งคาดว่าน่าจะเริ่มจัดจำหน่ายในประเทศในร้านขายยาและสถานพยาบาล ได้ราวต้นเดือนสิงหาคม นอกจากนี้ ปัจจุบัน บริษัทฯ ยังมีชุดตรวจหาเชื้อไวรัสโควิดแบบแรพิด แอนติเจน เทสต์ (Professional Use) ซึ่งผ่านการขึ้นทะเบียน อย. ภายในประเทศ ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม 2564 แล้วเช่นกัน และอนุญาตให้ใช้โดยผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพ และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์เท่านั้น
