กรมการท่องเที่ยว ดึงกระแส Camping สร้างรายได้ให้ชุมชน

กรมการท่องเที่ยวเห็นความนิยมของนักท่องเที่ยวแบบ Camping ในขณะนี้ จึงเร่งผลักดันส่งเสริมชุมชนท่องเที่ยวและโฮมสเตย์ทั่วประเทศ ด้วยกิจกรรมค่ายพักแรม "Camping ในชุมชน" และอบรมให้ความรู้ในรูปแบบอบรมออนไลน์ เมื่อวันที่ 29 - 30 กันยายน 2564 โดยอธิบดีกรมการท่องเที่ยว (นายอนันต์ วงเบญจรัตน์) ได้เปิดการอบรมและสร้างแรงบันดาลในให้ชุมชนหันมาทำกิจกรรมค่ายพักแรม 
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ กรมการท่องเที่ยวได้นำเสนอหลักเกณฑ์คุณภาพ Camping ชุมชน ซึ่งจัดทำขึ้นเพื่อให้ชุมชนสามารถนำไปปรับใช้ในพื้นที่ของตนเอง ทั้งการกำหนดพื้นที่ การบริหารจัดการในด้านต่าง ๆ การมีส่วนร่วมของคนในชุมชน เพื่อพัฒนาพื้นที่ให้สามารถจัด "Camping ในชุมชน" ได้อย่างมีคุณภาพ โดยยังคงไว้ซึ่งความเป็นวิถีชุมชน
มีอัตลักษณ์ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง "Camping ชุมชน" ถือเป็นการช่วยส่งเสริมให้ชุมชนมีรายได้เสริม เพื่อกระจายรายได้ให้ชุมชนอีกทางหนึ่ง

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการต่อยอดให้ชุมชน โดยจะมีการคัดเลือกชุมท่องเที่ยวหรือโฮมสเตย์จากทั่วประเทศ อีก 4 พื้นที่ เพื่อลงพื้นจริงในการพัฒนาเป็นต้นแบบ ให้"Camping ชุมชน" มีคุณภาพอย่างยั่งยืน
